So the way Survivor works, is you vote for the movie you like least in the respective groupings. After a couple days, I'll eliminate the highest vote-getter and then the remaining movies will be re-posted and so on until eventually there's a merger and so on until we determine NPP's Best Best Picture Winner.

I'm willing to bet most people here haven't seen these movies from the 30's and 40's. What the hell are you trying to do? I don't get this.

I've seen 6 of them.

Most of you are uncultured idiots though.

The amount of American movies you've seen from the 30's and 40's has nothing to do with how cultured you are.

Exactly wrong.

No one's seen the movies from the 30s and 40s, yet people seem to want to take out the late 90s/early 2000s Academy darlings.

I thought that was Hole.

I think people are voting for the ones they've seen and hated... or they read the poll wrong and are voting for the one they want to move on. But yeah, we should be eliminating the earlier movies that most of us have never seen... though that may raise the ire of Osiris. :(

Except when Shakespeare In Love is on the poll, fuck that film.

Its not that hard a concept. If you've seen three of the movies and hated one, obviously you're going to vote for the one you hated before the sight unseen ones. Just do that.
