Here are the nominees for the Best Supporting Actress Oscar this year:

Cate Blanchett for I'm Not There (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0368794/) playing one of the many versions of Bob Dylan in the film. Didn't see it. No interest in seeing this.

Ruby Dee for American Gangster (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0765429/) playing Mama Lucas. Didn't see it, had no interest in seeing it at all.

Saorise Ronan for Atonement (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0783233/) playing Briony Tallis, aged 13. Again, didn't see it, slight interest in seeing it mostly due to critical hype.

Amy Ryan for Gone Baby Gone (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0452623/) playing Helene McCready. Haven't seen it, would greatly like to see it sometime soon.

Tilda Swinton for Michael Clayton (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0465538/) playing Karen Crowder. Haven't seen it, but also want to see it badly.

Based on the movies that I watched that were released in 2007, I can't think of any performances that were overlooked. Anyone else have gripes with the Academy's selections?

If you didn't see a single one, how is your opinion on this of any importance?

I didn't vote and I'm not trying to sway votes.

Cut him some slack, he's just trying to facilitate discussion.

Saorise Ronan in Atonement was the greatest part of the movie. Of course Keira and McAvoy were goodness but if she wasn't in that role then this movie would have been shit.

"I saw him. I saw him."

Really people might say Atonement was a movie where nothing happened but it's because of her character that all of the movie's happenings happen.

Watch it.

Then just list them. Nobody cares which films you want to or don't want to see.

You could say that about everyone (minus me and Cheekbone of course), you could FER SURE say it about you- btw, sorry you weren't chosen to host again.

I haven't seen any of these movies. 0/2 on these polls so far.

Well now that I've seen Gone Baby Gone, Amy Ryan gets my vote.
