View Full Version : How many of you read the forums at work/school?

Based on complaints about NWS images, I'd like to take a poll to see how many people these can potentially affect.

Just to clarify, we could post actual nWs pictures as long as the thread title said nWs, right?

I look at the forums sporadically at work, so as long as threads are labeled, I know to wait till home. I do think there should be a limit on avatars though, Joshy#'s I believe(the bottle of alcohol covering the girls snatch), always gets skimmed by when I'm at work.

Correct. Ideally it would be like Something Awful in that NWS images are linked rather than embedded into the post, however as long as the thread is titled NWS by the poster when creating, then it would be fine to embed the images in there.

The problem is that some threads don't start off NWS - and then those threads rely on a mod to come in and edit the title, and so it can be easy for people to unsuspectingly load up NWS images in their work/school computers.

I read it at work, however I have my own office & could care fuck all if something is even remotely nws

Your office is a supply closet shrimpy.

It's actually the bottom drawer of my boss' desk, but don't tell anybody that reads the height/weight threads.

Oh, sorry. Never occured to me that it might be a problem. I'll fix that, never let it be said that you missed one of my witty posts because you had to skim past my avatar.

I don't view it where it could be a problem, but I'd say the thread titles themselves are where the more NSFW stuff occurs. I don't care for the NSFW warning, I say if you come here you expect that. But, like I said thread titles containing curse words seems to be a bigger problem than avatars and embedded pics.

Obviously throwing in the NFW warning is appreciated. It doesn't usually matter to me if its embedded or not because 9 times out of 10 the office filter red xs it out anyway.

On second thought, how about gross/gay porn linked, hot porn embedded?

I read at work, but skip the NWS tagged things. I think the pics that slip through the mods is few and few between and with the scrolling down thing, If I see something that might be suspect, that back button gets hit.

Also, absolutely no 'questionable' porn.

Second this.

Got my own office as well, so it doesn't matter to me.

I view them at work, but I don't really care about nWs images. I either scroll past them or masturbate furiously.

I probably do 90% of my posting from work and don't appreciate random fat black chicks with melty boobs appearing in the middle of a thread I'm reading.

I view them at work in an open-plan office, so would appreciate inappropriate stuff being labelled properly or linked.

That is all.

I say if you come here you expect bad language. You're seriously saying you think picture of two people fucking is more work safe than the phrase "two people fucking"??? Honestly??????????

Juicey is blind and uses one of those website readers at a rather loud volume.

I can just imagine describing this site to someone who's blind.

"Then the next post says 'O Really?' with the word Really written rly, then the next post is a picture of a baby being changed and runny shit in the diaper, then the next post says "Damnit Tron!!", then the next 18 posts are arguing about what a vest is, then the following 14 posts are talking about toast. Then, we move on to page 3 of the "What I cooked tonight" thread."

If you are viewing the thread directory, and it says NSFW you know to avoid said thread. But, if the thread directory itself contains curse words, which are themselves NSFW, then you are already screwed. And actually I said that if you come here you should expect NSFW stuff. So what was your point?

But please continue with your LIFE SMARK TROLLING NERD.

I wouldn't think curse words are NSFW. Most people get personal emails at work. You won't get in trouble if a friend is sending an email with the odd curse word, but would if it were a porn type image.

I don't think anybody would be close enough to see that my computer screen says "Fuck the shit out of my asscave." They would be close enough to see the picture of somebody fucking the shit out of somebody else's asscave, though.
