Not going to watch it, as I hate watching these guys play Omaha, but I'll be following it.

Really like watching Dwan live (he's on Premier League Poker over here, which is a total crapshoot, but fun watching Dwan). Can't wait for HSP 5, to be honest.

I'm still reeling from yesterday, I must have replayed it a million times and haven't not gotten angry.

Seriously, that was the worst thing ever. I'd rather much just lose to a guy that was better or won with hands that were actually supposed to win.

I can't play anymore. I go on tilt and then I lose money.

I must have said this like 10 times already, but I'm not making another deposit. Once I get my Rakeback from this month I play it and that is it. I can't deal with this shit.

Yeah Dwan is fantastic. I'll follow it as well - if we could see hole cards man that would make this thing so fucking sick.

I feel like I've written this a million times over the years heh. But look - good poker players lose by suckouts. Good poker players lose when they make correct decisions. You got your chips in as a favourite and lost - that's a great thing. That's when you want to lose - when you're the favourite, or when it is mathematically correct - because you know you're doing the right thing.

If you're this stressed about it, you might be playing too high a limit. You should never see poker as a "I gotta raise money for this so I will play poker" because you know what? That will fuck up your mentality(as seen in your posts), and it will also affect your play. If you want to raise money like that, go for a big score - enter a $10 multi table tournament and just hope to get the big prize.

Shit happens. My friend, who I'd put as one of the top 20 headsup players in the world, plays $1,000 buyin SNGs. He recently lost over $80k within the span of 2 months. But he doesn't let it affect him, because he looked over his hands, and he did the right things, and it's just variance.

To be a winning poker player, you have to accept that these things happen.

I think the limit was too high, I took a gamble at it and lost. I mostly play $30 and unders which is probably why this one pissed me off so many times.

ITS JUST THE WAY IT HAPPENED

WHY MUST BE THEY PLAY WITH MY SOUL LIKE THAT

Here's one to put a smile on your faces:

£5 r/b at the casino last night. I have a LAG image from the r/b period, but I've tightened up in the f/o period.

I'm in the BB with a stack of around 11,000. Shortie of around 1,400, average stacks are around 7,000.

Blinds are 300-600. UTG+1 shoves for 1,400. Next player flat. Button calls. I look down at 5-5. I shove all in. First caller calls for his stack, button passes.

UTG+1 has Jacks. Other caller has...A8o. Hits his 8 on the flop and doubles up.

I'm seething simply because I felt it was the right play due to UTG+1s range and I wanted to isolate him, hoping we were racing. I'm not expecting the caller to put his tournament on the line without a big pair and I'd assume he would have shoved pre-flop to make the same play I did.

His quote, "I thought I might hit my ace," tickled me.

Anyway, he busted out later, after losing most of his stack calling 2 all-ins with Q3 suited. Donks everywhere, regardless of the levels.

So I played in a $60 FullTilt tourney yesterday and I finished 8th for a win of $383.

Unfortunately, I made a dumb play to be eliminated going all in with A-9 against 10s.

What blows is that first place was $3,400 or so. That would have been the biggest win for me ever.

Damn.
