Vanden Bosch had a lackluster year so hopefully he can shine and Burleson isn't a sure thing yet.

Ugh I wanted Peppers.
Rumblings in town are that everyone in the organization wants McNabb gone... except Andy Reid. I say dump them both.

Do you think Kolb is ready to go?

Glad that the bears are actually making moves, cause god knows they have no draft at all.

Might as well try. He looked really good in his starts, even against the Saints. He's itching to go. I'd want a reliable vet backup though. We already know we're not getting anything with McNabb, time to change the guard.

Baltimore obtained Anquan Boldin from the Arizona Cardinals on Friday for a third- and fourth-round pick in the 2010 draft.

GREAT trade for Baltimore. They also got a fifth-round pick back from the Cardinals.
They also apparently have already signed Boldin to a three-year extension, meaning they'll have him for four years. |

The Cardinals could have had a second, maybe a first, round pick last year for Boldin. They knew he was going to leave anyways, why the hell didn't they trade him then?

I believe the logic was that they wanted to keep as much of the nucleus of the team together as possible because they thought they could make another Superbowl run.

Fullback is probably the second least important position in football. Behind the punter.

Dude, don't diminish the punter. Starting field position on a given drive is a big deal.

LOL, the Browns also traded their 2006 1st rounder Kamerion Wimbley (outside linebacker) to the Raiders for an undisclosed draft pick.
I'm not saying punters and fullbacks aren't important to the game of football, just in comparison to other positions. |

I dunno man. Field position matters. I'd probably get a quality punter before I got a good third wide receiver or nickel package DB.

The Oakland Raiders have the best punter in football, and lord only knows how much success he's brought to the team the past couple years.
The difference between a "quality" punter and whoever is considered the best free agent punter currently on the market isn't that extreme. |

LT signs with the Jets - 2 year deal
Runningback? Pfft. They should have spent that money on a punter. |
