I don't really play much poker anymore, haven't developed as a player in 3 years, probably gone backwards really. And even then, it was nearly all tournament poker or occasional limit ring games. But Rush Poker seems perfect for someone like myself - a poker player without the patience, dedication or skill to play poker. So I'm going to invest $100, which is 10 buy-ins at minimum table. So 10 sessions - they will run for one hour or until I lose it all. And we'll see how it goes. Badly I imagine.

Session 1
Start: 11:45
End: 12:03
Result: (BUSTO)

This is a sign of things to come as I gradually lose $100 USD over a few weekends. Tell me if I played this badly please, as I have no idea and it's the only way I'll learn.

I'm BB ($0.1) with 9-9, one off the button raises to $0.4, which seems stealish, so I reraise to $1.3. Flop is 10-7-x. I bet $1.50, called. Turn is 8. I still think I've probs got the best hand, as well as a straight and flush draw now. Bet, raise all-in, call. Opponent has 7-7.

Other than that it was 18 minutes of me stealing a lot, winning one decent pot and losing one decent one too. I think I was a few cents up or a few down.

So I'm going broke anyway? That is reassuring in a way.

In a game like Rush Poker where you have no stats on anyone fo sho. Pretty sure I'm getting my chips in the middle 100% of the time with 99 on a T87x board.

It's on Full Tilt Poker

Rush Poker is where when you fold a hand instead of handing for it to play out they move you to another table. So you're playing 300-ish hands per hour.

Yeah I meant waiting not handing. I'm terrible when I don't check my posts. So:

Rush Poker is where when you fold a hand instead of waiting for it to play out they move you to another table. So you're playing 300-ish hands per hour.

Not so awful now I hope.

Session 1.5
Start: 4:20
End: 4:43
Result: -0.80

Cut this one short because I was having some connection issues... I think my Internetz has been throttled and at least 5 minutes of this was trying to reconnect. First it either cost me a big pot or saved me from going bust again. I'll never know. Was $1 or so ahead before that, then about $2.50 down before ending up almost back to neutral when it dropped out a 2nd time.

Just finished off the $9.19 left from earlier. This is not going well, although early days. Really need to work on my post-flop play. Maybe tighten up pre-flop a bit too. Overall though I don't think I played too badly just then.

That 9-9 hand, I'm the same as Scots. It's all going in on the turn, IMO, in a format like that.

Overall: -$18.83

Can't sleep so play some poker. This was encouraging as I kinda proved to myself I can beat it. Was up to $14.68, then down to $5.21 after some standard losses plus overplaying K-K (couldn't let go on a J-J-6 flop... opponent had A-J). Work that back up to ~$11 with 5 to go in the hour then get A-A for the first time...

early position (UTG+1 or 2 I think) limps
I raise to 0.5 from the position 1 before the button that I can't remember the name for
SB calls
BB folds
early position calls

Flop is 10-10-6.

Early position checks
I bet $1
SB folds
EP Call

next card is irrelevant
I bet $2
EP call

Feel this person is an idiot or am being trapped. But by what? 10-x is unlikely. 10-10 or 6-6 is possible for limping then calling I guess?

River check-check. Opponent has... K-10 sigh

That has me back down to $7.21. Then in the last 5 mins or so I get a crazy run of playable or stealing hands for a bunch of small pots to make a slight profit.

1 before the button is the CO or cut-off. Nothing you can do about AA hand. He has 88. 99, 55 etc more than he has Tx.
