What should my new achievement challenge be?

Well if you read the front page article I managed to beat the achievement challenge I set up for myself last year. I set it up to get 500 gamerscore points minimum in every game I own to encourage me to play more of my games, as I had like over 25 games and had barely played them.

I had a lot of fun with the achievement challenge, and I'd like to make this a regular thing. However I'm not sure what kind of challenge I should set for myself in 2009, so I put it out here for suggestions.

Some notes:

• I got the Blockbuster unlimited rentals a month thing for $30 a month, where you can rent 1 game at a time but can rent as many games as you want. I want to take full advantage of that to go through as many games out there as I can. There's a lot of games I haven't played yet that I am interested in, like Dead Space, Left 4 Dead, Far Cry 2, COD World at War, Brothers in Arms, Blitz 2, All Pro Football 2K8, Ninja Gaiden, Skate, End War etc.
• I'd like to play more online. Shit like GoW2 Horde, COD 4, NBA 2K8 and so on. I've got a lot of games that have online play and I really should take advantage of it more, considering I pay for XBL Gold.
• I don't want to have to sit there grinding to 500 points on a game. If I can get 500 I'll go for it, but I think if the challenge incorporates points in some way, it should be 250 max.
• I'd like to go back and play some of the games I still own actually, although I will deffo look at selling some.

Some Stats:

• 47 games with over 500 points in.
• On that MyGamercard.Net Thing: 68 games, 33807/64875 points, 1374/2623 achievements.
• 62 retail games played apparently.
• 7 games with 1000/1000.

So yeah - any ideas on a challenge?

How about for everyone a best completion, or most achievements relative for games. It would probably take a bit of working out at the end to crunch the numbers though.

It reassess achievements for games and gives them points based on difficulty. So while two games might have one achievement for 20g. The first game it takes two hours to get, the second game you just have to turn it on. The first game the achievement would be ranked higher then the second game, despite been the same score, as the other one is harder to get.

I say we all sign up for the nibbles thing and every two weeks see who gained the most achievement points and the most true achievement points with a special prize to the winner at the end of the year.

The formula doesn't work too well on that site though. All it does is see how many people actually own that achievement for the game (based on whoever signed up for the site I'd assume), and then weighs the achievement to points within the game, always totaling 1000. It doesn't compare the achievements to other games. It just assumes that if less people have the achievement, it's harder to get.

That's why I love the rental thing tho. I can go, rent a game like that, play it and then when I hate it go return it an hour later.

Gamefly is only 16 a month here in Amurica for having 1 game out at a time. Also, if you rent a game and decide you'd like to won it, you can pay a little more and they'll send you the box, and your next rental game. I don't know if you have it in Canada. 30 is a bit high for Blockbuster, even if you get the convenience of going right to the store.

I recently went through the games I own and made a list of achievements I feel I can get without going crazy. I've often completely forgot about games/achievements after getting a new game. I want to go back and get out of the games I have already what I feel the true worth is.

We have alternatives to Gamefly up here - but I prefer the convenience of Blockbuster which is about 15 mins walk away. Plus weekends, can go whenever I want etc, and I can choose the game I want(rather than that list garbage).

Come on people I want a new challenge!!! But I can't think of one on my own : (
