    I just think it would be easier to devote energy to losing the gut first, then gain mass where you want it after.

    It's all down to diet, which is the hard part till you learn it. Knowing what you're eating, how much, and why gives you all the power. When you're tracking it through a site like Myfittnespal you can make tiny adjustments.

    No reason you can't do both at the same time. Comes down to personal preference.

    I wouldn't eat 2800 calories a day no matter what. I probably do about 1200 on an average day. Like I just ate plain granola in plain yogurt for breakfast. Protein shake takes up lunch. Then whatever for dinner (and by whatever I don't mean a pizza or fast food).

    My shoulders are huge, my arms are big but not toned, my pecs are like a 10-year-old girls (shut up).

    I can post exact exercises but my cardio is mainly I walk everywhere (remember the DUIs?) so we're talking 3-5 miles a day just getting places to and fro. Then every other day it's arms and shoulders and abs/legs.

    Basically if I lost 5-10lbs my six pack would show. But instead of losing that weight purely I'd like it to just migrate to muscle in my man breasts.

    Most of my friends do Atkins. This might come as a shock but a great # of recovering addicts and alcoholics turn to exercise.

    As great as it looks eating bacon, sausage and cheese wrapped in lunch meat all day I don't want to die at 41 of a heart attack.

    Though I am avoiding most carbs.

    It's technically carbs but the only ones I really eat. They're delicious and healthy.

    Plus lets be honest. With all of the food, creatine, whey protein, anti-depressant pills, anti-anxiety pills and boner bills going on in my body who the fuck knows the formula for that one.

    Again, what I'm doing may not be 'right' but it's working for me. And I'm not trying to be an athlete. I'm a 36 year old dude trying to maintain okay.
    MyFitnessPal buddies! I have been using it since March and have seen a lot of success. I also walk 2.25 miles every morning (usually takes 30 minutes or so) and go to the gym when I can. The results have been startling as I had stopped taking care of myself for awhile when my first kid was young and I was in grad school. I am 6'5" and had ballooned up to 295 lbs. I am down to 231 lbs now and making steady progress to my goal weight. I am back to what I weighed when I got married and am trying to get back down to high school/college weight. Ironically, I have more on my plate now than ever and find plenty of time to eat right/exercise. I am 32 years old and just trying to maintain too. The app definitely works.
    I DON’T THINK SHE REALLY FELL INTO A HOLE EVEN THOUGH THAT COULD HAPPEN. I THINK THE HOLES IN THE METAPHORE IN THE POEM ARE JUST HOLES OF DISPARE IN SOME ONES LIFE. I GUESS BESIDES THE TRENCHES IN PAINTBALL, I HAVE FALLEN INTO HOLES OF DISPARE IN AN EDUACTIONAL MATTER.
