Welcome to the 8th week of my achievement challenge. Based on last weeks statistics, my true achievement percentage had increased by 2.49% while Ristos had increased by 0.04%.
That’s an average of 0.36% a week by me. While it may not seem like much, if I kept up that rate by the end of the year it would be a healthy 16.2% which would be enough to put me over Ristos current percentage. Even better – since the achievement challenge began I really haven’t played that many games or got that many achievements, so I really should be able to do a lot better than 0.36% per week. Plus since the achievement challenge started I’ve actually ADDED two games to my list, which made my percentage decrease.
I’m breathing down your neck motherfucker.
Alright what did we do this week? Well I played Brando a bunch in NHL 08, and I got 3 achievements totalling 125g, for winning a shootout, winning in overtime, and winning with a guest. I have a couple more achievements I can obtain in this game, and I should be able to wrap it up this week.
In Monkey Island I completed Part Two: The Journey, for an achievement. Sadly my interest in this game has waned – so I’ll most likely begrudginly complete it. Pity that I purchased it as I had so many great memories from this game, and now it just feels like a fucking chore.
Hopefully wrap that up this week too.
In Shrek The Third I decided to go through this, and may I say I hate glitched achievements. I completed all the collectibels and challenge quests, and got myself 5 achievements. I also beat every level without dying on normal or above which SHOULD unlock another achievement, however it has not unlocked which is well – pretty gay. I have to go through the game at least once more(beat it on the easiest difficulty), however I may have to go through it again just for that never dying achievement – mainly because I am anal about that shit, and can’t bare seeing a game with just 1 more achievement needed.
The final achievements this week came in All Pro Football 2K8, as I won an online tournament, played in an online tournament, and set a few extra records. Should be able to 1K this.
Risto picked up a couple of achievements in 50 Cent, and also started Bioshock too. He has 32 of 50 achievements in that, for 64%.

So another small gain by me, 0.30% to be exact, while Risto dropped momentarily, but I am sure will beat Bioshock and get 1K soon which will bring his percentage back up.

Last week set myself a goal to beat Shafts true achievement score, and thanks in part to some Fifa achievements that got given to me out of nowhere, plus grinding some Tiger Woods 08 achievements I managed it in a week.
Aiming to hit 60% by the end of March, but that may be hard given that Im going to get a new Xbox tonight and probably a few games with that.
Also Fifa Ultimate team comes out next week, and thats gonna take up a lot of my time

I have two more games coming today or tomorrow (Bioshock 2 & Fallout 3 which I'm trying again solely based on everyone's love for it around here) so my percentage is gonna keep on dropping for a while. I'm hoping that I'll have gotten through the five or six games that I have sitting around by the end of the year and get my percentage back up near 70%.

Just bought my elite and it came with Alien vs Predator and Assasins Creed
I'm up 1.36% since we started with two games added in that time. Nearly finished off Need for Speed: Shift, which is an easy 1000, but certainly not a short one. Also gotta grind out Red Faction and Bioshock 2 for achievements, then take another trip through Bioshock 2 and Dante's Inferno to hopefully complete the both of them.
Still on the shelf I've got all the rhythm games, plus stuff like Saints Row, which I have one achievement in, Marvel Ultimate Alliance which I'll need to play through again and a few other games I want to get one or two more achievements in. Need to get the 1 000 000 fans in UFC before the next one comes out. It's gonna shit me just been one achievement away from completing it, but I really can't see how I can do the gold medals.
Ive gained 4% since the challenge started. Just broke 100k TA score. Played some Allpro and Indy Lego 2 getting a few achevos in each. I have been trying to finish up scene it. Only 13 out of 1031 gamers on TA have gotten 1000 on Scene it. The achievements are glitched and broken.
Like Nibbles I am also missing a lot of achievements in Ultimate Alliance and Saints Row. I'm going to try to go through the original Mass Effect on hardcore and insanity to pick up some missing achievements.
Thought it would be interesting to compare everyone's top 10 achievement ratios.

The one achievement I'm truly proud of is 100% in Arkham Asylum. Shit was hard.

Will post my achievement stuff in a bit. As for Skate - fucking hate it mate. I tried the demo of it when it first came out and got into it, but my mate lent me the game a few months ago and it was awful. I spent over 2 hours on it and just couldn't get into it.
Unfortunately I was a twat and got 1 achievement out of like 50, so I got it out the library just to pick up a few additional achievements in it. Stuff like "uploading 6 pictures to skate.reel" etc haha. Nothing game related as I played it for a bit and wanted to kill myself. Can't even beat the first mission, and tutorial took me for fucking ever.
Taff how do you get the ratio images etc that tiny? Is there a skin I oughta be using or something?

It's actually a really fun game, but it IS hard as fuck. I did that in the year where I had to get 500 minimum gamerscore, and oh man it was very tough just to get that much.
There's some achievements - the easy ones - where you have like 2900 people that have the achievement. Actually one achievement over 7300 fucking people have it haha. It's just a very tough game.

I've been thinking of playing Eternal Sonata again. That EZI achievement is pretty beefy and as I understand it not to difficult with a guide.
You really have to do it with a guide. You get some EZI pieces from playing certain score pieces with people. They aren't numbered so with a guide it'll list the order you picked them up in so you know which ones to play.
It's been awhile, but can't you keep playing score pieces until you hit the correct one, or are there some that you need to nail on the first try?
You can keep playing, but I think there's over 30 in the end, so far easier to use a guide. Can try as many times as you want though.

I rented Sega Rally Revo and Viva Pinata Party Animals. I have like just a few achevos in Sega and haven't played Party animals. It looks like a game I could get a good percentage complete within a week or two.
Just looked at my gamertag. I got Sega Rally Revo confused with Full Auto. I might not play it now. Reviews are bad and achievements are nuts. Host 100 games online.WTF?
That new Sonic Racing game is meant to be good BTW. I tried the demo and it was fun.
Also YAY - was at the library and saw Prince of Persia there - I got it there before but it kept freezing and crapping out. Turns out it was my old Xbox that was the problem. Works fine on the new one. Should be able to rack up the chievos.

I have 4 games brand new waiting to be played, Mass Effect 1 + 2, Assasins Creed and Aliens Vs Predator, but wont open any of them yet as they'll ruin my %age.
Gonna keep them next to the xbox when i get a old game up and then play them
lol yeah I got Bioshock 2 just sitting here, been hyped for this game for awhile, but I've been playing Cars and Shrek instead.
yeah I figure its gonna be my reward. Get achieves in an old game up and then switch. Working on crackdown now so another 2 nights on that hopefully then may go for aliens vs predator.

Not printed them off yet. Waiting till I beat every game I own, then I'll do up the list and print it off and start hitting up Blockbuster on a regular basis. Probably have to do an online rental as well for some of the older games.
Well excited though, can't wait. I'm gonna do a print off for each game, and put them in a ring binder. Just waiting for this to arrive:
